THE LUXURY DUBAI ITINERARY

As far as luxury destinations go, Dubai is top tier. There are no end of chic hangouts, which makes putting together an itinerary a little overwhelming! I’ve put together my dream luxury Dubai itinerary for a 4 day visit to the glittering city.

Day 1 (Friday)

Daytime: Beach club

What better way to start than at one of the many beautiful beach clubs, my top picks would be…

SAL, Burj Al Arab

SAL – A guaranteed luxury experience can be found at Dubai’s iconic ‘7 Star’ hotel, the Burj Al Arab where the SAL terrace awaits. The beach club boasts unobstructed views of the Arabian Gulf from its 100 metre infinity pool and should you look the other way you’re met by the stunning architecture of the hotel. At 800AED per person (400AED redeemable) it’s the more expensive option but it’s a truly luxurious way to start your holiday. The vibe however, leans towards the chilled side.

Twiggy – Head slightly away from central Dubai for a day at the Mediterranean inspired Twiggy lagoon. Sip rose as you enjoy the view of the Dubai skyline over the Creek. I recommend reserving a space at the fabulous restaurant for lunch as well as a sun bed for the full experience.

SAN or EVA – Based on the lively west beach (Palm Jumeirah) a day at either SAN or EVA will have you feeling like you’ve officially arrived in Dubai. The backdrop of the Dubai Marina and Bluewaters Island will set the tone for what’s to come. I’d recommend a day here if you’d like a more upbeat setting.

Evening: Lively Dinner

After a day in the sun it’s time to see what Dubai nightlife has to offer…

OPA – Journey Downtown for a an evening of Greek fun. Expect traditional greek dances, authentic cuisine and plate smashing! The friendly dancers will have you out of your seats for a memorable first night in Dubai.

Amazonico – For a super stylish evening, head to Amazonico. The stunning restaurant is located in the heart of the Financial Centre which comes to life at night. After dinner the rooftop bar provides cool house beats late into the night.

Nammos Dubai

Nammos – The Mykonos legend opened in Dubai in 2019, and quickly created it’s legacy on the Dubai nightlife scene. I recommend to book a late dinner and prepare to be entertained with live performers throughout the night.

Day 2 (Saturday)

Daytime: Brunch

No where does bottomless brunch quite like Dubai…

Ce La Vi – Catch a glimpse of the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa from the stunning Address Sky View hotel as you enjoy an energetic afternoon at Ce La Vi’s ‘Brunch on 54’. Expect a number of dishes to be served to your table and your drinks to be on rotation from 1-4pm.

Alici – Seafood fans, this one’s for you. Alici brings a taste of Southern Italy to the shores of Dubai’s Bluewaters Island. Dine alfresco or within the cleanly styled restaurant as you feast on fresh seafood and sip on crisp wine – a truly magnificent way to while away the afternoon.

Evening: Brunch continued

Views from Monkey Bar

If you’ve done brunch correctly you might find you’re ready to lie down by early evening, however should you still have steam to continue there are plenty of bars to enjoy across the city. Admire the Museum of the Future from Monkey Bar or dance in the sand at Surf Club, you’re really spoilt for choice.

Day 3 (Sunday)

It’s time to get a better look at Dubai…

Morning: Views

Aura Skypool – Spend the morning at the world’s highest 360 infinity pool. A unique experience that few could deliver but Dubai has executed effortlessly. I recommend to book a 4 hour slot, as a whole day isn’t necessary.

Yacht tour – Get a different perspective of Dubai and tour the sights from a private yacht. Anchor up in front of Jumeirah Beach and take some jet skis out for a spin.

Afternoon – evening: Desert Safari

A must do experience in Dubai, but it’s important to choose the right safari…

Platinum Heritage Desert Safari

Platinum Heritage – As far as luxury desert experiences go you won’t get much better than Platinum Heritage. Ride into the desert on vintage Land Rovers and enjoy the unique scenery and wildlife before heading into the camp. There’ll be a tasty Arabic spread waiting for you followed by traditional Emirati entertainment.

Day 4 (Monday)

Morning: More Views

For the thrill seekers…

Skydive Dubai – An experience you won’t forget, take on Skydive Dubai with the Palm Jumeriah sprawled out beneath you.

Helicopter ride – For those who don’t seek the adrenaline rush, a helicopter tour across Dubai is the perfect way to make sure you’ve seen it all before you leave.

Evening: Dubai Mall

No trip to Dubai is complete without a visit to the world’s largest mall…

Views towards the Dancing Fountains

Dubai Mall – There are many sites to see from the aquarium to the waterfall. If it’s your thing you can also head up 149 floors in the Burj Khalifa and enjoy yet more expansive views, I recommend to do this at sunset and watch as the city starts to glitter.

The Dancing Fountains – End your time in Dubai with a touch of magic. Don’t stand among the crowds, allow the dazzling fountains to mesmerise you over dinner. For the best views from your seat I recommend Thiptara for a relaxed evening or for somewhere slightly more glamorous head to Urla.
