My luxury hotels wish list

I dream of luxury hotels on the daily. I live in constant wonder of where I’ll stay next. So in the spirit of manifestation I’m sharing with you my luxury hotels wish list, which I hope to convert into tried and tested reviews very soon!

Patina, Fari Islands, Maldives

Our stay in the Maldives at Heritance Aarh could not be faulted, I’d return to the resort at the drop of a hat. However, variety is the spice of life and Patina caught my eye. The resort’s clean and modern aesthic had me at first glance. Then I dug deeper and saw the numerous dining options and the stunning layout of the Island.

The Bodrum Edition, Bodrum, Turkey

We’d booked to stay here in 2020, and it was one of the many travel plans lost to Covid. But the dream to experience the Turkish Rivera at this fabulous resort lives on. Having stayed at The Edition in Abu Dhabi and visited the one in Dubai, I can comfortably assume a stay here will be nothing less than fabulous.

Bulgari, Uluwatu, Bali

I visited Bali in 2018 and it was a whistle stop tour of Ubud, Seminyak and Uluwatu – I left my heart in Uluwatu. When I return I’ll spend longer in Uluwatu and I’d like it to be at the lush and opulent Bulgari resort.

Habitas, Al Ula, Saudi Arabia

My Instagram feed is full of this place. Something about biking around the desert resort, seeking out trampolines and swings makes me want to visit and feel like a kid again. And for when I return to being a tired adult, the pool which is nestled in the stunning cliffs is where I’ll rest.

Il Sereno, Lake Como, Italy

My very short trip to Lake Garda was one of my favourites, and I suspect Lake Como might top it. Overlooking the lake, I’m unsure I’ll feel the want or need to leave the hotel to explore – it looks like I’ll have all I need.

Jumeirah Al Naseem, Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Why I haven’t staycayed here yet is beyond me. It’s next on the Dubai staycay list. It’s seated in front of the Burj Al Arab and occupies the best beach area in Dubai. The list of amazing dining options leave you spoilt for choice and being connected to the Madinat, I’d say it is more of an experience rather than a hotel stay.

Four Season, Seychelles (Mahe)

I’ve always wanted to visit Seychelles and what better place to enjoy the scenery than from your own pool at the Four Seasons? Not sure I need to give much more explanation here!

Lily of the Valley, St Tropez, France

I’m forever plotting a summer touring the European hot spots. When I came across Lily of the Valley, I knew this was the place for me in St Tropez. I’ve already planned my outfits for the long lunches I’ll have at the beach club, can picture myself having my morning coffee in my robe and can taste the rosè I’ll drink relaxing at the pool.

Atlantis The Royal

Opening in early 2023 is the much anticipated Atlantis The Royal. It has dubbed itself ‘The most ultra-luxury experiential resort in the world’ and I don’t doubt for one second this claim won’t be lived up to. On prime Dubai Palm real estate, just a drive by the resort will leave you in awe, which is why I know its worthy of a place on my wish list.

I’ll be sure to keep you updated on the progress of my wish list. Don’t forget you can book you luxury hotels with me over at pause travel 🤍

Do you have any luxury hotels you’ve stayed at or on your wish list I should consider?
